General Description
This is the perfect hunters paradise! There’s 120 acres of land that comes with moose, deer, black bear, ruffled grouse, turkey, woodcock, beaver, rabbit and don’t forget the fish in Averill Stream. The land is bordered on the north with the Quebec Canada boundary and the southern edge is Averill Stream. There’s a 30 x 40 foot insulated camp, built in 2008, that has two large bedrooms and there’s a loft for more friends and family. The land is mostly wooded and it’s enrolled in the current use program. There’s privacy, quiet, the wildlife and peace of mind. There aren’t many large parcels out there, so if you’ve been thinking about getting away, this is a good comfortable place to be.
Directions: From the center of Norton village head north on RT 114 for approximately 3 miles. Take a left across from Gaudette Road on the right-of-way. Proceed for approximately 1/4 mile then take an unmarked left. From the stream we walk in to the camp site. This right-of-way is not a town road and it’s not plowed during the winter. You can snowmobile in. Please call for showing appointment.
